Share your world – Week 42 to 51

(Leo Buscaglia)

I really love the idea of sharing the world we are living in and so it was no question for me that I will participate.

Thank you so much, Cee, for that wonderful idea!

Week 51:

  1. Your most favorite fiction book?
Oh, there are really many I liked but one of my favorites is ‘Child of the Phoenix’ written by Barbara Erskine – followed by ‘Shadow of the wind’ written by Carlos Ruiz Zafón (and all his other books!)
  2. What one thing you miss about being a kid?
That I didn’t have any fear of getting older and what the future would look like
  3. If you were an ice cream cone how many scoops and flavors would you be and why?
Oh, I think I would be 4 scoops, because I’m really tall and not slim at all,  and the flavors would be:
honey: I’m sweet but not that kind of sweetness you’ll expect

chocolate-chili: sweet and tangy, sometimes really spicy
peppermint: fresh and full of doings
strawberry: I like the pink sunglasses and strawberry fields
  4. What was one of your first moneymaking jobs (other than babysitting or newspaper delivery)?
I worked in an office as girl Friday during the school holidays

Week 50:

  1. If you were to move and your home came fully furnished with everything you ever wanted, list at least three things from your old house you wish to retain?
My white Panton chairs, the Marimekko Fatboy bean bag chair and my paintings
  2. Are you mostly a clean or messy person?
I think a mostly clean person
  3. What is the most enjoyable team or club you have belonged to and what was it that made it so?
The teams I worked with… in Vienna and here in Singapore as well. Thanks so much to all of them!
  4. What do you feel is the most enjoyable way to spend $50? Why?
It depends… sometimes it’s a good meal, sometimes it’s a tiny piece of jewelry and sometimes – at sale – it’s a pair of shoes

Week 49:

  1. What is the most incredible natural venue that you’ve ever seen in person?
For me one of the most incredible and mystical natural venues are the stone formations at the ‘Blockheide Waldviertel’ in Lower Austria. Check out some pictures…
  2. What was your favorite food as a child? Do you eat it now?
Scrumbled eggs with tomatoes and homemade bread – and yes, from time to time
  3. Would you travel into outer space?
    Oh yes, of course!
  4. Tell how you are feeling today in the form of a weather report. (For example, partly cloudy, sunny with a chance for showers, etc.)
Partly cloudy and windy, there’s a small chance for sunshine later that day

Week 48:

  1. What feeds your enthusiasm for life?
This wonderful world we are living in, thirst for knowledge and curiosity
  2. If someone made a movie of your life would it be a drama, a comedy, a romantic-comedy, action film, or science fiction?
I think it probably would be a drama-romantic comedy-action film crossover.
  3. If you were to perform in the circus, what would you do?
I would definitely be an animal tamer.
  4. You are given $500 and the chance to exchange it for one of two envelopes. One envelope contains $5,000 and one contains $50. Do you make the trade? Why or why not?
Yes, I would make it, because I didn’t have the 500 bucks beforehand – so, why not challenge the fortune?

Week 47:

  1. Would you accept $10,000 to shave your head and continue your normal activities without a hat or wig while not explaining the reason for your haircut?
Difficult question – but yes, I think I would accept…
  2. Which of the following restrictions could you best tolerate:  leaving your country permanently, or never leaving the state or area in which you live now?
That’s also a difficult question and the decision is not so easy, but I think it will be leaving my country permanently than rather never seeing any part of the world during my whole life.
  3. If you had to spend one weekend alone in a single store but could remove nothing, which store would you pick?
A library … there are books without end
  4. If you could have a servant come to your house every day for one hour, what would you have them do?
Ironing the clothes and washing the dishes

Oh, that depends on whether I hear it or not… but normally a few…
  2. If you were to be on a reality TV show which one would you be on and why?
Hmmm… in Austria years ago there was a reality show called ‘Taxi Orange’… this one I would be on because it is fun driving a car and talking to other people you don’t know.
  3. What’s your middle name?  Why?
    I don’t have a middle name
