Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: 2015 Week #4

This time I have a ‘colorful’ selection like Pippi Longstockings Villa Villekulla. The photos are from Phuket, Singapore and Vienna – have fun (;

The word ‘relic’ can be seen in so many different images… for me ‘relic’ means the old, decayed, overgrown and abandoned graves and tombs at the Wiener Zentralfriedhof.

Travel theme: Smoke and Mirrors

This time my interpretation of the theme ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ is more general nonetheless I think the pictures go well with illusion and some kind of magic. The heads in the photos are made of liquid chocolate that covered a model’s face and were used for a print ad campaign. The large advertisements hung on fences and and advertising pillars  in Vienna – you can see the fence through the placard and some cracks but there remains a magical kind of attraction.

illusion – 2 illusion – 1

Tiergarten Schönbrunn, Vienna

The Vienna Zoo (Tiergarten Schönbrunn) is located on the grounds of the famous Schloss Schönbrunn, a Rococo summer residence of successive Habsburg monarchs in Vienna.  It is the oldest zoo in the world and was founded as the imperial menagerie in 1752. Today the zoo is a scientifically administered zoo which has its main focus of attention on a centre for species conservation and general nature conservation.

Streets of Vienna

Oh I
Walked the streets of love
And they are full of tears
And I
Walked the streets of love
For a thousand years…
